Harriet Harman gets some flak
02 April 2008
And our eyebrow moment of the week goes to Commons Leader Harriet Harman, who stood in for Brown during PMQs today. (April 2nd)
Harman had taken alot of flak (sorry) during the week for going out wearing a stab-proof vest when taking a stroll around her constituency, Peckham.

Harman responded to her critics by saying:
"It's almost like if you go to a meat factory, they give you a white hairnet and nobody thinks you are going to make a meat pie."

Yup Haz. That's exactly what it is like. TBH the only similarity I can see between the two are the pigs and the fact that you were made into mince-meat.
However the Harmanator got her own back during PMQs when Hague challenged her about going out in her own constituency wearing a stab-proof vest.
She replied that she wasn't taking any sartorial advice from someone who used to wear a baseball cap.
