Sophie Blackman is the sister of Lucie Blackman who was brutally murdered in Japan in 2000. She now actively campaigns to promote personal safety as ambassador for the Lucie Blackman Trust.
In 2007 she was nominated for Cosmopolitan’s Ultimate Woman of the Year awards, where she came third.
Sophie talks to eyebrow magazine about coping with her loss, tragedy in the media and her campaign to promote the new safety device the Silent Scream Buddyfob.
