I hear the Government is reclassifying the licenses needed by lap-dancing clubs. At the moment the licenses are the same as those required by cafes and karaoke bars, yet now somehow the Powers That Be are drawing a line between a cup of coffee and what they’ve defined as a ‘sex encounter’. Now I’ve not been into one of these places (not because I’ve got a moral stance but because I’ve not got the cash), but from what I hear you’re not allowed to touch the goods that are so fragrantly wafted under your nose. What, then, is a sex encounter, and where else can I get one?
